Viviane Egli resigns as CMF Board Member ad interim

After two years and as planned, Dr. Viviane Egli, Managing Director of Primafila AG, has resigned as the Content Marketing Forum’s (CMF) ad interim Member of the Board for Switzerland.

Viviane Egli co-founded the CMF’s predecessor, the tri-national Forum Corporate Publishing (FCP) in 1999, which brought together Swiss, Austrian and German corporate publishing players in a single association. Up until 2004 she was also Member of the Board for Switzerland for the FCP – a role which she took on again ad interim from 2014 to 2016. This period also saw the FCP’s successful name change to Content Marketing Forum.

Viviane Egli will continue to serve the CMF as the Swiss representative for the worldwide umbrella organisation International Content Marketing Forum (ICMF) – a position that she has held from the very beginning.

While the ICMF with its 18 member countries has only been operating under its current name since 2007, the first steps to form an international organisation were taken 14 years ago, with Viviane Egli one of the key drivers of the successful endeavour.

Local and International

About her work in these associations, Viviane Egli says: “Switzerland with its small home market has been internationally oriented from the start, when we co-founded the transnational association for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. And this is how I’ve always understood a part of my function since 1999. The other part: To keep the Swiss players – all of them fellow competitors on the market – together in a democratic and dignified manner.”

Viviane Egli is replaced by Dr. Daniel Kaczynski, owner and Managing Director of Swisscontent, as CMF Member of the Board for Switzerland.

“I am very happy that Daniel Kaczynski is taking over the position and am confident he will continue this work in the best possible way, as he is a person who understands the driving force that is integration,” says Viviane Egli.
