Precision Rules: SOMATOM Sessions Film Wins Silver at BCM 2016

    
The Siemens SOMATOM Sessions movie ”Precision Rules – Spinal Fusion Surgery with Intraoperative CT and Neuronavigation” won Silver in the category “Best How-to Video” at the Best of Content Marketing awards 2016.

The movie shows the routine use of an intraoperative CT for a spinal fusion surgery. Screw position can now be checked by intraoperative CT images during the procedure and can be corrected immediately if necessary.

Primafila medical correspondent Philipp Grätzel von Grätz, who accompanied the shoot, says:

Looking over the shoulder of a spinal surgeon and seeing how he used intraoperative imaging to work as precisely as possible made a lasting impression on me. That Primafila provided a camera man who had previously shot a movie with Wim Wenders made this assignment unforgettable.
