Focusing in – closer to home

In the late autumn/winter issue of the Centurion Preview, the American Express magazine looks primarily at activities closer to home in Switzerland: from hiking and biking in the Bürgenstock – ice skating Lac de Joux in the Jura vaudois – to wine tasting in Ticino; there are still many destinations for recreation this winter.

Especially during this time it is important to stay well and fit, this issue also offers some suggestions on how to do that. Journalist Peter Jaret’s contribution from the USA illustrates how to bring the wellness culture in California closer to the reader in Switzerland. “California and Switzerland may be continents apart, but when it comes to opportunities for wellness, they have much in common – from luxury lakeside spas to remote mountain retreats”.
