Fox Awards 2023: Primafila wins Gold and Visuals Silver!

Primafila’s strategic approach to rebranding the pension fund for the Swiss Canton of Aargau looked to the region’s landscape for inspiration – and took home Gold and Visuals Silver Fox Awards.

The Aargauische Pensionskasse (APK), a public independent pension fund based locally in the Swiss Canton of Aargau, has been an anchor in the region for more than a hundred years. With the rebranding, APK chose to foreground their connection and impact in the area by drawing inspiration from the canton’s three rivers that flow together to become one.

The three rivers symbolize how APK joins employee and employer contributions, as well as capital market investments, into one robust and reliable pension plan that will continue to flow into retirement. The new logo also represents APK’s three sets of brand values: humanity and loyalty, security and stability, and transparency and simplicity.

Chosen among 241 submissions, Primafila’s concept for APK’s new visual and audio logo received Gold and Visual Silver Fox Awards in 2023 for its outstanding approach and design efficiency.
