Providing information for patients and caregivers

In 2021, we are looking forward to continuing our long-term relationship with Siemens Healthineers reporting on emerging technologies and trends in medicine. Although this medical equipment manufacturer is a global company, the focus in design and development is first and foremost patient-centric; providing patients and caregivers with the information they need to make important care decisions.

An explanation of MRI was long overdue. We are happy to have developed this together with Siemens Healthineers and to have implemented it in text, images and video. Healthcare journalist Philipp Grätzel von Grätz and illustrator Jens Amende created the series of articles on MRI technology. What’s that knocking? is a highly informative short film explaining how a MRI scanning works. Magnetic resonance imaging: the long path to the patient provides a historical overview of the development of MRI technology. A third article, The MRI at fifty – what lies ahead? examines the current state-of-the-art medical technology challenges and forecasts the solutions for the future.
